Maternity Photo Shoot!

I am so lucky to have a friend like Jenni, who is so fun, and talented with her camera!  She drove all the way over here to humor me with some fun maternity pin-up photos I wanted and some great pics of Adrien and I at the nearby nature center.  Despite my chilly fingertips, I couldn't be happier with how they turned out!  Thanks so much, Jenni, for giving Adrien and I this special gift!!!

Family Baby Shower

It was so amazing to have not one, not two but three sides of my family all in one room yesterday for a family baby shower.  Aunts, great-aunts, cousins, in-laws....it was truly amazing to have you all there!  So strange to have the Putt, Gonczy and Hansen side all together!  I felt so loved!

My sister, Liz, my aunts Kim and Leslie and my mom, Pam did an AMAZING job putting this whole thing all together.  The decor and food were amazing.  I loved the games (well maybe not the charades so much ;) and all the great prizes you had for people to choose from.  The diaper bouquet and centerpieces were Adorable.  Everyone was so generous, I could barely close the car doors coming home! ;) I really appreciated all the advice and tips and special gifts for baby and I.  It was great to be able to hear some of your birth stories in more detail.  All in all, I think I couldn't be more ready for this baby to come...though if they want to hold off a little while that would be great!

Thanks again everyone who made this day happen!

Preggo Fun: Sober Pub Crawl

Last night we headed to the Mall of America for a warm indoor pub crawl catered to Preggos and nursing moms.  We hit 4 bars total and had a lot of fun chatting and enjoying fruity mocktails.  Here's some photos of the night:

Round 1: Fruity Mocktails at Ruby Tuesday

Round 2: Mystery concoctions from the bartender at Cadillac Ranch

Round 3: Mango and Pina Colada yummies at Kokomo's

Round 4: Amber O'Douls (because we couldn't take any more fruity stuff!)

Baby Shower Fun!

Super big thanks to Jess for organizing this awesome shower for us!  And thank you so much Christopher and Jonathan for hosting.  You all did a fantastic job! We had a great time and felt so loved.  I had to grab some photos of all the decorations and details.  Here are some pictures from the day:

Excited to see the results of the baby pool.  Everyone bet on the baby's weight, length, birthday, birth time, hair and eye color.  Different points for each category.  Winner takes the pot!

On the menu: veggie meatballs in creamy marinara sauce,  breakfast casserole, mini croissants, breakfast cocktails (and mocktails), the best fruit salad ever, cupcakes and other nibbles.

The favors: Mini French Macaroons!

The pictures below are compilations of selfies we sent in before the party.  Each face is a mash up of two of the guests (#11 and #12 are 5 different people)  We had to correctly identify who made up each new face.  (Hint: if my and Adrien's baby comes out looking like #3, I will be a bit surprised. : )

Afterwards we all played an excellent game of Jackbox, a multi player trivia and fun game where we used the tv as a screen and our smart phones as controllers.  Graet idea Christopher.  That was a blast and I look forward to playing it again next time we come over!

Thanks again Jess and Jonathan for hosting this and big thanks to everyone who made it out to celebrate with us!
